The annual 5.7 K run through Harold Parker State Forest

June 9, 2024: time for another race in the woods!  Here are my shots of the runners from 2024, taken right around here [zoom out for context], just before the second pass by the mid-trail water station at NA16.  The course is actually almost 5.8K or 3.5 miles, with some tricky terrain in spots.  Today the lighting was also tricky, because it was heavily overcast and sprinkling a little [the rain fortunately held off for the race itself, but picked up for real later on].  So lower light means that despite trying for a fast shutter speed, the runners still have a bit more "motion" to them than I'd like.
